Play it Safe: A Family Health, Safety and Fitness Fair
(May 10, 2010) Each year, millions of children visit the emergency room. One of the most commonly diagnosed conditions in an ER is accidental injury or poisoning. Help your family and friends learn to be safer this summer and join Rush-Copley for Play it Safe - a family health, safety and fitness fair on Saturday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rush-Copley Healthplex, 1900 Ogden Avenue, Aurora.
Kids of all ages and adults will be able to learn and interact with a wide variety of fun and educational exhibits both indoor and outside including:
- Stranger danger education
- Touch a truck - fire and ambulance exhibit
- Finger printing and child ID cards
- Water and sun safety
- Food and shopping cart safety
- Sports and bike safety
- Prevention of accidental poisoning
- Child safety seat checks by certified child passenger safety technicians
