If you or a family member is admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, find out from the physician if an oxygenation assessment has been performed. Ask about the results and whether oxygen treatment would be appropriate.
I f an antibiotic is warranted, find out when it will be administered and whether the antibiotic you are being given is universally recommended for the kind of infection you have.
