We understand that it may not be easy for you to be in the hospital, away from your home and family. That's why we are preparing this information prior to your stay.

We want to assure you that you will be in the hands of exceptional people. Doctors affiliated with Rush-Copley are well trained, board certified in their medical specialties and have experience treating thousands of persons from the greater Fox Valley area each year.

And the employees of Rush-Copley – including nurses, technologists, support staff and so many others – offer you services with professionalism as well as Rush-Copley's hallmark – a caring touch. Many employees have been with Rush-Copley for more than 10 years, and some have more than 15 years of experience here.

Rush-Copley is equipped with some of the most advanced technology available anywhere. For example, we have a linear accelerator for radiation therapy in Cancer Care Center, laser surgery in the Heart Institute, a neonatal intensive care nursery for infants needing special care and an advanced CT scanner.

The care at Rush-Copley has been recognized by many organizations in the healthcare field as well as by patients. Rush-Copley is proud to be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, a national organization charged with oversight of healthcare quality. Rush-Copley also holds many accreditations including the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, the College of American Pathology, the Clinical Laboratory Improvement of Healthcare Organizations and others.

Any greeting received after 1:30 p.m. on Friday will be delivered Monday afternoon.
