For every stage of your life, you’ll find a full range of services, delivered by board-certified experts in women’s health and the compassionate touch of our highly trained nursing staff.

Just ask our new moms. More of them have chosen to have their babies at Rush-Copley than at any other area hospital. They know first hand what our Family Centered Care means to their birthing experience. It means having round-the-clock visiting hours;  being cared for by the same nurse from labor through recovery; private Labor, Delivery and Recovery rooms; personalized birth plans; and the Fox Valley’s only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the first in the nation to receive Joint Commission certification for maternal/child and high-risk neonatal care.

If you ever have a breast health issue, it’s comforting to know that the Women’s Health Center offers advanced digital mammography with immediate results—usually within an hour. Other important testing and diagnostic services include breast biopsy, bone densitometry, breast ultrasound and genetic testing.

Knowing the variety of conditions a woman sometimes encounters as she ages, the Women’s Health Center offers the newest technologies and treatments for incontinence and bowel or bladder control problems in its Comprehensive Pelvic Medicine and Continence Center. Rush-Copley experts also provides hormone therapy for women in menopause, and is highly trained in recognizing the subtle differences in women’s heart disease

Heart Sisters Support Group

This group is open to women of all ages who have heart disease.  The group meets twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays and offers both individualized and group support to help cope with feelings, emotions and isolation that women with heart disease often face.  For more information, please call 630-851-6440, ext. 11.
