Getting Started
Choose your own Personal Trainer or, if you need guidance, contact Russ Zalkin, 630-499-2401, to help you select the best match for you. To purchase your Personal Training package, just speak to a Healthplex staff member at the Front Desk or call 630-978-6280. On the day of your first appointment, wear comfortable workout clothes and meet your Personal Trainer at the Fitness Desk on the Fitness Floor. Kinesis Training™
An advanced level of personal training is the elite Kinesis Training. Designed to improve your overall quality of life, it involves fluid, three-dimensional movements that activate a wider range of muscles. You’ll train in a comfortable private studio to heighten awareness of movements, acquire correct posture, and achieve full harmony of body and mind. Kinesis Training enhances the benefits of classic exercises such as Yoga and Pilates, as well as sports-specific and post-rehabilitation training. A dedicated Personal Trainer will guide you through this new experience, helping you rediscover the natural movements of your body. Russ started Personal Training in 1989. Opening his first private studio in 1993, he was quickly recognized and voted one of the top 3 trainers in Indianapolis several years in a row. He has also served as an advisor for the Indianapolis Star Health and Fitness Section as well as Indianapolis Monthly. Russ incorporates all the latest training methods with the traditional ones, which makes for the ultimate workout experience. His 21 years of experience has led him to specializing in the following areas: General Fitness, Cycling, Injury Recovery, Post Cancer Recovery and Nutrition. He currently holds certifications from A.C.S.M. as well as A.C.E.

Rondi focuses on technique, form and safe exercises for her clients while working on strength, tone, stability and weightloss for an overall healthy lifestyle.
