Massages Options
Hot Stone – A Swedish massage with the benefit of heated stones. This is a profoundly relaxing massage that accesses all the deep layers of the muscle.
Remedial – Specific work to repair tissue pathologies and improve range of motion. It assists in healing and reduces nerve pain.
Aromatherapy – The use of scents with massage for therapeutic purposes. The nervous system reacts to these and induces emotional and physiological responses.
Swedish – The most popular form of massage relaxes muscles, eases aches and pains.
Sports – By utilizing specific strokes, this massage helps athletes maximize their performance and physical conditioning by increasing power, endurance and mobility…before and after events or exercise.
Pre-Natal – Relieves fatigue and backache, enhances sleep, calms an active baby, reduces edema and prepares a mother for the birthing process. For women who are past their first trimester with consent from their doctor.
Deep Tissue – Uses slow, repetitive techniques to access the deeper layers of muscle tissue.

Graduated from the Wellness & Massage Training Institute, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (Chicago, IL)

Professional Member, Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals
Specialties: Currently using a neuromuscular model in massage therapy. Depending on a client’s needs, she uses trigger point therapy, myofascial release, circulatory massage techniques or acupressure to achieve neuromuscular integration. As a tri-athlete, Lori understand the challenge that all athletes face in maintaining muscular and joint health through periods of intense endurance training.
JULIE – Certified Massage Therapist
Graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy
Certifications: Illinois State Licensed Massage Therapist
National Certification of Massage and Bodywork.
Specialties: Julie’s goal is to customize each massage according to her clients’ needs. She often combines techniques from Swedish, sports and clinical therapeutic work to create a well-rounded massage session. She also offers Hot Stone and basic pregnancy massage. With an acute focus on her clients’ comfort, Julie values their feedback during and after massage to ensure the best outcome for every session as well as the long term.

Massage Hours
Massages are by appointment only, seven days a week.

Massages may be scheduled at the Front Desk or by calling 630-978-6280. A credit card will be required during booking for those who are not members of the Healthplex.
Massage Maintenance – For regular massage sessions, our Maintenance Program includes one massage per month billed with your membership for one year at a reduced rate.

To cancel an appointment, please call no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged full price.
