Patient Services
Whether infertility is caused by a male or a female problem, or both, our first step is always to make a diagnosis and promptly explain the cause of infertility. This meticulous search for answers is why unexplained infertility occurs in less than five percent of the couples who seek our help.
Nearly two-thirds of our patients can be treated for infertility with less-invasive forms of treatment such as timing of ovulation and insemination.
Medications treat hormonal imbalances and some forms of male-factor infertility. Other forms of male-factor infertility, as well as female tubal abnormalities, pelvic adhesions and endometriosis can be treated surgically.
Assisted reproductive technology offers a good chance for conception for patients not responding to the above approaches. This encompasses such techniques as:
Invitro fertilization
Tubal Embryo Transfer
Embryo Transfer
Gamete Intrafallopian Transfer
Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer
We also specialize in:
Fertilization
Insemination
Endometriosis
Operative Laparoscopy
Microsurgery
Hormonal Disorders
Uterine fibroids
At Rush-Copley Center for Reproductive Healthy we realize couples experiencing infertility can feel frustration and anxiety. That's why a significant amount of time is spent with couples discussing the emotional aspects of infertility and reviewing each cycle of treatment. When necessary, couples receive support from psychologists and group therapy.
