    • Laparoscopy
      Laparoscopy is a group of operations performed with the aid of a camera placed in the abdomen. The laparoscope allows doctors to perform minor surgery with just a small cut in the abdomen.  
    • Hysteroscopy
      Hysteroscopy helps physicians diagnose and treat a uterine problem. The hysteroscope which is a thin, telescope-like instrument is inserted into the uterus through the vagina and cervix in order to provide a way for physicians to look at your uterus.  Hysteroscopy is a minor surgery.
    • Hysterectomy
      A hysterectomy is a surgical removal of the uterus, resulting in the inability to become pregnant. There are multiple ways a hysterectomy can be performed. If a hysterectomy is recommend your physician will discuss with you the most appropriate type of hysterectomy for you.
    • Colposcopy
      Colposcopy is a procedure used to help doctors diagnose and treat abnormal cervical cells.Your doctor may order a colposcopy because your cervix appears abnormal during your pelvic exam and pap smear.  During this procedure your doctor uses the colposcopy to visually exam the cervix. Colposcopy is a simple and painless procedure that is performed in the office.
    • Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP)
      LEEP is a procedure used to help doctors diagnose and treat abnormal cervical cells. LEEP uses a thin wire loop electrode which is attached to an electrosurgical generator. This technique allows your physician to send the excised tissue to the lab for evaluation. This will verify that the lesion was completely removed, as well as allow for a more accurate assessment of the abnormal area. LEEP is performed in the office.
